Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction NINETEENTH CENTURY ART, which included the work La cartomancienne: The fortuneteller by Paul Rink. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 8,191.40 (€ 3,931.60). Admittedly, works by Paul Rink have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Little Cowherdess In A Meadow Near Zalk in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion NINETEENTH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit La cartomancienne: The fortuneteller von Paul Rink zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 8.191,40 (€ 3.931,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Rink auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Little Cowherdess In A Meadow Near Zalk im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
