Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Still Life With Pottery And Vegetables On A Tabletop by Paul Rink was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2001, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of NLG 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for NLG 2,937.50 (€ 1,411.90). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Rink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Little Cowherdess In A Meadow Near Zalk in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still Life With Pottery And Vegetables On A Tabletop von Paul Rink im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von NLG 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für NLG 2.937,50 (€ 1.411,90) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Rink erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Little Cowherdess In A Meadow Near Zalk im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
