The work Untitled (Beach equipment), 1936 by Paul Outerbridge was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2019. It achieved a price of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,858.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Outerbridge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ide Collar (An Advertisment made for Geo. P. Ide & Co.) in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 314,000.00 (€ 370,021.21).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Beach equipment), 1936 von Paul Outerbridge kam im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.858,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Outerbridge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ide Collar (An Advertisment made for Geo. P. Ide & Co.) im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.000,00 (€ 370.021,21).
