City May 1923 and Alumni in an unknown hand in pencil, Kodak Park Camera Club Annual Exhibition stamp with annotation 4th and 1924 in ink in an unknown hand on the reverse of the mount.

A top price for Paul Outerbridge - as previously expected
In October 2000 Christies in New York held the auction PHOTOGRAPHIC MASTERWORKS 2, which included the work Ide Collar (An Advertisment made for Geo. P. Ide & Co.) by Paul Outerbridge. The price achieved of USD 314,000.00 (€ 370,021.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ide Collar (An Advertisment made for Geo. P. Ide & Co.) is the most expensive artwork by Paul Outerbridge that we have observed at auctions so far.
