Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Host by Paul Morrison was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in April 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,780.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Morrison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Protoplasm in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,200.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Host von Paul Morrison wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.780,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Morrison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Protoplasm im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.200,36).
