The price achieved of USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,848.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Lauritz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work California valley with poppies and lupine in April last year with an auction result of USD 21,675.00 (€ 20,570.37).
