Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Secret Pool by Paul Lauritz was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,864.00 (€ 4,487.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Lauritz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work California valley with poppies and lupine in April last year with an auction result of USD 21,675.00 (€ 20,570.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Secret Pool von Paul Lauritz kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.864,00 (€ 4.487,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Lauritz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit California valley with poppies and lupine im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.675,00 (€ 20.570,37).
