Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landschaft in Südfrankreich by Paul Kleinschmidt was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,385.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul Kleinschmidt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sängerinnen in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 130,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landschaft in Südfrankreich von Paul Kleinschmidt kam im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.385,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Kleinschmidt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sängerinnen im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.540,00.
