Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dressing Table Still Life 17 1/2 x 23 in. (44.3 x 58.5 cm) framed 22 1/4 x 27 3/4 in. by Paul Kleinschmidt was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,381.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Kleinschmidt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sängerinnen in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 130,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dressing Table Still Life 17 1/2 x 23 in. (44.3 x 58.5 cm) framed 22 1/4 x 27 3/4 in. von Paul Kleinschmidt kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 9.381,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Kleinschmidt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sängerinnen im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.540,00.
