Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Dead Cow by Paul Insect for USD 625.00 (€ 492.82). This price was achieved in the auction Saturday@Phillips at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Insect achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unicorn in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 33,291.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dead Cow von Paul Insect für USD 625,00 (€ 492,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Saturday@Phillips bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Insect erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unicorn im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 33.291,34).
