Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sex Toy 2 by Paul Insect was sold in the Saturday@Phillips auction at Phillips in London in March 2009. It changed hands for a price of GBP 375.00 (€ 404.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Insect achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unicorn in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 33,291.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sex Toy 2 von Paul Insect wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Saturday@Phillips bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 375,00 (€ 404,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Insect erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unicorn im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 33.291,34).
