Auction result misses estimated price range
In January this year a collector was able to acquire the work André Renaud by Paul Colin for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,348.50). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples | Live Online at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Colin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Tumulte Noir in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 133,946.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit André Renaud von Paul Colin für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.348,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live Online bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Colin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Tumulte Noir im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 133.946,39).
