Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Playboy Advisor by Patrick Nagel was sold in the PLAYBOY AT 50 auction at Christies in New York in December 2003. The price achieved of USD 3,585.00 (€ 2,845.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Nagel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kristen in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 300,000.00 (€ 269,082.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Playboy Advisor von Patrick Nagel wurde im Dezember 2003 in der Auktion PLAYBOY AT 50 bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.585,00 (€ 2.845,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Nagel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kristen im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 300.000,00 (€ 269.082,43).
