Sold at the upper estimate price
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Inter-Ena-Cubo by Paolo Scheggi. The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,156.66), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Scheggi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Intersuperficie Curva Bianca in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 1,623,000.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Inter-Ena-Cubo von Paolo Scheggi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.156,66) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paolo Scheggi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Intersuperficie Curva Bianca im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.623.000,00.
