Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session, which included the work Inter-Ena-Cubo by Paolo Scheggi. The price achieved of USD 63,000.00 (€ 55,816.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paolo Scheggi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Intersuperficie Curva Bianca in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 1,623,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Inter-Ena-Cubo von Paolo Scheggi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 55.816,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paolo Scheggi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Intersuperficie Curva Bianca im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.623.000,00.
