Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Bow Human by Pamela Rosenkranz. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,655.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pamela Rosenkranz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice), which sold at auction in February 2016 for GBP 42,500.00 (€ 54,458.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bow Human von Pamela Rosenkranz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.655,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pamela Rosenkranz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Because They Try To Bore Holes In My Greatest And Most Beautiful Work (Relief Of Avarice) beobachtet, die im Februar 2016 für GBP 42.500,00 (€ 54.458,50) versteigert wurde.
