Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pae White could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in July 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art | New York auction, the work Bird Cage changed hands for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,167.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pae White achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scrapestry 6. in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 18,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pae White konnte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | New York wechselte die Arbeit Bird Cage für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.167,83) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pae White erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scrapestry 6. im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.750,00.
