This artwork by Pablo Palazuelo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2009. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 43,750.00 (€ 29,904.31) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Palazuelo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Virtus Marin, Vi in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 301,000.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Palazuelo erzielte im September 2009 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 43.750,00 (€ 29.904,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Palazuelo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Virtus Marin, Vi im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 301.000,00.
