This artwork by Pablo Bronstein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2016. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Plaza Monument sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,415.11) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pablo Bronstein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Relocation of Temple Bar in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 71,823.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Bronstein erzielte im März 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Plaza Monument für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.415,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pablo Bronstein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Relocation of Temple Bar im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 71.823,12).
