Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London, which included the work New Design for the Treatment of Walls for the display of Painting in Oils by Pablo Bronstein. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,371.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pablo Bronstein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Relocation of Temple Bar in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 71,823.12).
