Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Christies in London held the auction First Open | London, which included the work Paternoster Square Capriccio by Pablo Bronstein. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,772.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pablo Bronstein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Relocation of Temple Bar, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 56,250.00 (€ 71,823.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paternoster Square Capriccio von Pablo Bronstein zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.772,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pablo Bronstein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Relocation of Temple Bar beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 56.250,00 (€ 71.823,12) versteigert wurde.
