Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Monument In The Style Of Michael Graves On The Debris Of The Bastille by Pablo Bronstein was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,785.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Bronstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Relocation of Temple Bar in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 71,823.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Monument In The Style Of Michael Graves On The Debris Of The Bastille von Pablo Bronstein im Oktober 2016 bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.785,08) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Bronstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Relocation of Temple Bar im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 71.823,12).
