Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Oswaldo Vigas was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2019. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,575.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oswaldo Vigas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paraíso Inconcluso in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 209,240.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Oswaldo Vigas wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.575,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Oswaldo Vigas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paraíso Inconcluso im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 209.240,67).
