This artwork by Óscar Domínguez achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May last year. In the Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction, the work Femme assise sold for GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,670.22) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Óscar Domínguez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Toro Y Torero (Composition Au Taureau) in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,805,000.00 (€ 2,488,826.92).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Óscar Domínguez erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso wurde die Arbeit Femme assise für GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.670,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Óscar Domínguez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Toro Y Torero (Composition Au Taureau) im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.805.000,00 (€ 2.488.826,92).
