Sold at the lower estimate price
The work The Lamentation (B. 2) by Orazio Borgianni was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2008. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,274.86) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Orazio Borgianni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ Amongst The Doctors in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,401,250.00 (€ 4,332,278.32).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit The Lamentation (B. 2) von Orazio Borgianni kam im April 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.274,86) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Orazio Borgianni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christ Amongst The Doctors im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.401.250,00 (€ 4.332.278,32).
