Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sydney Harbour by Norman Lloyd was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in May 2004. The price achieved of AUD 5,019.00 (€ 2,932.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Norman Lloyd have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2001 the work Rural Idyll was auctioned for AUD 5,875.00 (€ 3,410.60).

Die Arbeit Sydney Harbour von Norman Lloyd kam im Mai 2004 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 5.019,00 (€ 2.932,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Norman Lloyd konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2001 die Arbeit Rural Idyll für AUD 5.875,00 (€ 3.410,60) versteigert.
