Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Haymaking by Norman Lloyd was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2011. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 875.00 (€ 985.40). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Norman Lloyd - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rural Idyll, which sold at auction in August 2001 for AUD 5,875.00 (€ 3,410.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Haymaking von Norman Lloyd kam im April 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 875,00 (€ 985,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Norman Lloyd mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rural Idyll beobachtet, die im August 2001 für AUD 5.875,00 (€ 3.410,60) versteigert wurde.
