The price achieved of GBP 117.50 (€ 171.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norman Lloyd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rural Idyll in August 2001 with an auction result of AUD 5,875.00 (€ 3,410.60).
