Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carmenta by Norman Bluhm was auctioned at Christies in June 2021. The price achieved of EUR 22,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norman Bluhm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chicago 1920 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,138,600.00 (€ 731,748.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Carmenta von Norman Bluhm kam im Juni 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 22.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norman Bluhm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chicago 1920 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.138.600,00 (€ 731.748,07).
