The price achieved of GBP 352.50 (€ 568.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Norman Adams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Oliviers in the Weed Field; Forest, Ardéche; Yorkshire Study; Cherry Orchard, Ardéche; Trees at Douk Ghyll; South France; and Bright Light on the Sea, Hebridean Study in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,648.82).
