In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Oliviers in the Weed Field; Forest, Ardéche; Yorkshire Study; Cherry Orchard, Ardéche; Trees at Douk Ghyll; South France; and Bright Light on the Sea, Hebridean Study sold for GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,648.82) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. This high result makes Oliviers in the Weed Field; Forest, Ardéche; Yorkshire Study; Cherry Orchard, Ardéche; Trees at Douk Ghyll; South France; and Bright Light on the Sea, Hebridean Study the most expensive artwork by Norman Adams that we have observed at auctions so far.
