Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Boundless: Contemporary Art, which included the work Phase Conception: Six Positions by Nobuo Sekine. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,989.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 48,000.00 – 65,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuo Sekine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Phase Conception: Six Positions von Nobuo Sekine zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.989,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 48.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nobuo Sekine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 314.320,93).
