Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Phase Conception-Letter "T" (G6-117) by Nobuo Sekine was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 40,800.00 (€ 4,843.84), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuo Sekine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Phase Conception-Letter "T" (G6-117) von Nobuo Sekine wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 40.800,00 (€ 4.843,84) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nobuo Sekine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 314.320,93).
