Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 POLY held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work G8-138 Ancient Seed by Nobuo Sekine. It changed hands for a price of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,171.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuo Sekine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte POLY die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit G8-138 Ancient Seed von Nobuo Sekine zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.171,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nobuo Sekine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 314.320,93).
