This artwork by Nobuo Sekine achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work G100-12 Four Corners sold for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,145.90) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuo Sekine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Nobuo Sekine erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit G100-12 Four Corners für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.145,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nobuo Sekine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 314.320,93).
