Auction result well in line with expectations
The work G120-10 Neighborhood(Painted in 1987) by Nobuo Sekine was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 264,000.00 (€ 33,830.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nobuo Sekine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit G120-10 Neighborhood(Painted in 1987) von Nobuo Sekine wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 264.000,00 (€ 33.830,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nobuo Sekine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 314.320,93).
