Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ancient Door by Nobuo Sekine was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,014.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nobuo Sekine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 314,320.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ancient Door von Nobuo Sekine wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.014,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nobuo Sekine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phase Of Nothingness - Cloth And Stone im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 314.320,93).
