Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Genius "Otto" by Nir Hod was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. It achieved a price of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,093.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Admittedly, works by Nir Hod have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Life We Left Behind in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,328.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Genius "Otto" von Nir Hod kam im März 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.093,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nir Hod auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Life We Left Behind im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.328,34).
