The work Genius by Nir Hod was worth USD 30,480.00 (€ 28,035.32) to a buyer in March this year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction at Phillips and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nir Hod; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Life We Left Behind sold at auction in July 2021 with the realized price of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,328.34).
