Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nir Hod could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli and International Art auction, the work Stephanie changed hands for USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,776.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nir Hod have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Life We Left Behind in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,328.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nir Hod konnte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli and International Art wechselte die Arbeit Stephanie für USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.776,84) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nir Hod auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Life We Left Behind im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.328,34).
