Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nikki S. Lee could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work The Young Japanese East Village Project (13) & The Punk Project (8) (Two Works) changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,170.98) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nikki S. Lee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images, 1998-1999 in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 19,200.00 (€ 15,209.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
