Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Work 7 by Nicolás Guagnini for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,213.38). This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Nicolás Guagnini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rhinotmetus in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,806.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Work 7 von Nicolás Guagnini für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.213,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolás Guagnini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rhinotmetus im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.806,43).
