Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nicolás Guagnini could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Sale auction, the work Untitled (Self-Portrait) changed hands for USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,550.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Nicolás Guagnini have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2019 by the work Rhinotmetus at USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,806.43).

Andere Arbeiten von Nicolás Guagnini wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2019 die Arbeit Rhinotmetus mit USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.806,43).
