This work without title by Nicolas Carone was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,723.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolas Carone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sound of Blue Light in July 2008 with an auction result of USD 80,500.00 (€ 51,638.98).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nicolas Carone kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.723,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Carone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sound of Blue Light im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 80.500,00 (€ 51.638,98).
