Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nicola de Maria could be acquired at Phillips in London in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Paese etrusco (Etruscan Countryside), from Tesoro (Treasure) changed hands for GBP 441.00 (€ 512.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nicola de Maria achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Regno dei fiori in October 2001 with an auction result of GBP 108,250.00 (€ 174,947.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nicola de Maria konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wechselte die Arbeit Paese etrusco (Etruscan Countryside), from Tesoro (Treasure) für GBP 441,00 (€ 512,32) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nicola de Maria erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Regno dei fiori im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.250,00 (€ 174.947,79).
