In the 20th Century Masters | A Private CollectionFontana to Baselitz auction, the work Angeli e sentimenti invernali dipinti sold for GBP 28,160.00 (€ 32,773.39) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicola de Maria have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Regno dei fiori in October 2001 with an auction result of GBP 108,250.00 (€ 174,947.79).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola de Maria auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Regno dei fiori im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.250,00 (€ 174.947,79).
