Admittedly, works by Nicola de Maria have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Regno dei fiori in October 2001 with an auction result of GBP 108,250.00 (€ 174,947.79).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 32.000,00 (€ 37.242,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicola de Maria auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Regno dei fiori im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.250,00 (€ 174.947,79).
