In the Photographs auction, the work Babe Ruth sold for USD 4,541.00 (€ 4,595.69) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nickolas Muray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images Including Portraits Of Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera And Miguel Covarrubias in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,247.21).
