Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Nick van Woert. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,739.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Nick van Woert have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2015 the work Hollow Core was auctioned for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,602.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nick van Woert zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.739,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Nick van Woert konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2015 die Arbeit Hollow Core für USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.602,83) versteigert.
