Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work The Animist by Nick van Woert. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,955.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nick van Woert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hollow Core in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,602.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Animist von Nick van Woert zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.955,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nick van Woert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hollow Core im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.602,83).
